Saman Fakheri , M.D., F.A.C.C. Dr. Saman Fakheri received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biomedical Engineering and was awarded the Graduate of the year in his department. As one of the top college graduates, he was elected president of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, California Delta Chapter. Dr. Fakheri obtained his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California where he was the recipient of the George and Zelda Walker Trust Scholarship. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at Kaiser Foundation Hospitals where he was appointed as Chief Medical Resident. He continued on at Kaiser Hospitals for General and Interventional cardiology fellowships for advanced training in peripheral and coronary interventions, including pressure-wire, rotational atherectomy, intravascular ultrasound, and trans-radial approach. Dr. Fakheri is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology. He holds additional board certifications in Cardiac Imaging for Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac CT. Central to his treatment philosophy is using evidence-based medicine to treat and prevent diseases, utilizing all available resources, to maximize a patient's quality of life. Dr. Fakheri emphasizes patient education, communication, and trust. He works with patients and their families to
understand their values and priorities, to help guide compassionate care. |
