Ramesh K. Arora, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Ramesh K. Arora, M.D., F.A.C.C received a Fellowship in Cardiology from St. Vincent Hospital/ Univ. of Massachusetts, Worcester, MA (July 1986 – June 1987), New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center, New York, N.Y. (January 1986 – June 1986), Jamaica Hospital, Jamaica, N.Y. (July 1985 – December 1985). He did his Residency in Internal Medicine at Kingsbrook Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. (July 1982 – June1985). He completed Medical School at University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India (July 1974 – December 1979).

Previously, Dr. Arora was the Chairman , Department of Cardiology , Valley Presbytarian Hospital; and also Co-Director of ICU/CCU, Mission Community Hospital.

In addition, Dr. Arora has also served as Vice Chief of Staff, Treasurer and Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Co-director of ICU & Cardiology at Northrdige Hospital Medical Center (Sherman Way Campus). He also served as Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab in Granada Hills Medical Center. He has also held similar positions at other area hospitals.

Dr. Arora's expertise includes clinical cardiology, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, dyslipidemia, valvular heart disease, coronary angiography, PTCA, coronary stenting, temporary and permanent pacemaker implantation and preventive cardiology.

Dr. Arora has been involved with multiple clinical trials and has participated as Principle Investigator for Abbot Laboratories, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer GI Reasons Study, and Pfizer Precision Stud , M10-241 Roche Pharmaceuticals Trial, the GSK Compare Trial and Biotronic Ace Study. In addition he has been the Sub-investigator of The Roche Actemra, GSK Diabetus Study, and Biotronic Sound Study.

Ramesh K. Arora, M.D., F.A.C.C. is board certified with American Board of Internal Medicine (Cardiology) (1987) and American Board of Internal Medicine (1985).

Dr. Arora is also Chairman of the Tri-Valley Indian Medical Association at present.
